Search capabilities have improved in two places: the start window and inside the IDE. Alongside the core IDE, multiple tool windows such as Toolbox, Breakpoints, Watch, Locals, Autos, and Call Stack should now render sharply across monitors with different display and scale configurations. ![]() NET Framework 4.8 and Windows 10 April 2018 Update. In Preview 1, we introduced a new Per-Monitor Awareness (PMA) preview feature that is now enabled by default for users that meet the system requirements of. The default will be set to “Download all, then install”, and you can modify this by going to Tools > Options > Environment > Product Updates. And, you will only need to wait for the actual installation of the update. This means you can continue using Visual Studio 2019 until it’s time to install. Visual Studio 2019 will automatically download updates in the background while your computer is idle.
